Driving
Whendriving,youshouldpayattentiontothefollowing
points:
•Donotoverloadorexcessively‘rev’theengine.
•Donotstoptheenginewhenthecarisinmotionwith
agearselected.
•SeekMGAuthorisedRepairerifyouthinkyourcaroil
consumptionisabnormal.
•Ifamisreissuspected,orthecarlackspowerwhile
driving,providedtheenginehasreacheditsnormal
operatingtemperature,itmaybedrivenSLOWLY(at
riskofDPFdamage)toanMGAuthorisedRepaireror
suitablyequippedservicinggarage.
•Donotdriveonterrainlikelytosubjecttheunderside
ofthecartoheavyimpacts.
•Allowenginetoidlefor10secondspriortoswitching
off.
Note:Anyenginemisre,lossofengineperformance
orenginerun-on,couldseriouslydamagethe
DPF.Regularmaintenancemustbecarriedout
inaccordancewiththeschedulespeciedinthe
‘WarrantyandMaintenanceManual’.
