•Sufcientbrakepedalapplicationforcehasbeenapplied.
Ifthedriverreleasesthebrakepedalonahill,HHCwill
maintainbrakepressurefor1-2seconds,afterthisperiod
thevehiclemayroll.
HHCcannotovercomephysicallimitations.DONOT
solelyrelyonHHC.
Note:HHCisavailableinbothforwardandbackward
directions.
Anti-lockBrakeSystem(ABS)
ABScannotovercomethephysical
limitationsofstoppingthecarintooshort
adistance,corneringattoohighaspeed,or
thedangerofaquaplaning,i.e.wherealayer
ofwaterpreventsadequatecontactbetween
thetyresandtheroadsurface.
Thepurposeoftheanti-lockbrakingsystem(ABS)isto
preventthewheelsfromlockingwhilebraking,thereby
enablingthedrivertoretainsteeringcontrolofthecar.
ThefactthatacaristtedwithABSmustnevertempt
thedriverintotakingrisksthatcouldaffecthis/hersafety
orthatofotherroadusers.Inallcases,itremains
thedriver'sresponsibilitytodrivewithinnormalsafety
margins,havingdueconsiderationforprevailingweather
andtrafcconditions.
Undernormalbrakingconditions,(wheresufcientroad
surfacefrictionexiststoreliablybringthecartoahalt
withoutthewheelslocking),ABSwillnotbeactivated.
