Thedaytimerunninglightsturnonautomaticallywhen
theignitionswitchisinpositionII.Whenthesideor
headlightsareswitchedon,thedaytimerunninglightsare
extinguished.

WhentheignitionisinpositionII,andthesidelamps
ordippedheadlampsareon,rotatethecontrolupto
increaseordowntodecreaseinstrumentillumination.The
instrumentdimmeralsocontrolsthebacklightillumination
ofswitches,audiosystem,messagecentreandthesatellite
navigationsystem(iftted).Whenthesidelightsare
switchedonthemessagecentredisplayontheinstrument
packandthesatellitenavigationsystem(iftted)willdim
automatically.
