TheSRSsystemincorporatesfrontandsideairbagsand
sideheadimpactprotectionairbagsforboththedriverand
frontseatpassenger.
Thefrontairbagsarelocatedinthecentrepadofthe
steeringwheelandinthefasciapanelabovetheglovebox.
Sideairbagsarepositionedinthebackrestpaddingonthe
outwardsideofbothfrontseats.
Sideheadimpactprotectionairbagsaresituatedbehindthe
headliningabovethedoors.
Note:Thefrontairbagsarenotdesignedtooperateas
aresultofrearcollision,minorfrontalorsideimpacts,
orifthevehicleoverturns;norwillitoperateasaresult
ofheavybraking.
Note:Inationanddeationofthefrontandside
airbagstakesplaceveryquicklyandwillnotprotect
againsttheeffectsofsecondaryimpactsthatmay
