ofthebatterycoverasideasshowninillustration.
BatterySafety
Batteriescontainsulphuricacid,whichisbothcorrosive
andpoisonous.Wearsuitableprotectiveequipmentwhen
handlingbatteriestoprotectyoureyes,skinandclothing.
Ifaspillageoccurs:
•Onclothingortheskin-removeanycontaminated
clothingimmediately,ushtheskinwithlargeamounts
ofwater,andseekmedicalattentionurgently.
•Intheeyes-ushwithcleanwaterimmediatelyforat
least15minutes.Seekmedicalattentionurgently.
•SwallowingbatteryacidcanbefatalunlessIMMEDIA TE
actionistaken-seekmedicalattentionurgently.
BatteryDisconnectionandReplacement
Note:NEVERruntheenginewiththebattery
disconnected,ordisconnectthebatterywhilethe
engineisrunning.
