systemmemory.Cruisecontrolwillnowmaintainthat
speedwithouttheneedtousetheacceleratorpedal.
Note:Thesetspeedheldinthecruisecontrolmemory
willbecancelledwheneitherthecruisecontrolmaster
switchispressedortheignitionhandsetremoved.
Withcruisecontroloperating,speedcanbeincreasedby
normaluseoftheacceleratore.g.forovertaking.When
theacceleratorisreleased,roadspeedwillreturntothe
selectedcruisingspeed.
Cruisecontrolwillbedisengagedwhenthebrakepedalis
pressedoradifferentgearisselected.T oreturntoyour
previoussetspeed,presstheRESswitch(3).
Note:Donotoperateswitchessimultaneouslyorfor
longperiods,thismayresultincruisecontrolfailure.
Toresetthesystemcycletheignitionoffandon.
T oChangetheSetCruisingSpeed
Rotatethethumbwheelupwards-thecarwillaccelerate
automatically.Releasetheswitchassoonasthedesired
speedhasbeenreached.
Rotatethethumbwheeldownwards-thecarwill
decelerateautomatically.Releasetheswitchassoonas
thedesiredspeedhasbeenreached.
Alternatively,thesetspeedcanbeincreasedordecreased
incrementallybypushingandreleasingthethumbwheel;up
toincreaseanddowntodecreasespeed.Eachoperation
ofthethumbwheelwillincreaseordecreasethespeedby
approximately1MPH.
