•Keepyourhandsandclothingawayfromdrivebeltsand
pulleys.
•Ifthecarhasbeendrivenrecently,DONOTTOUCH
exhaustandcoolingsystemcomponentsuntiltheengine
hascooled.
•DONOTTOUCHelectricalleadsorcomponents
whiletheengineisrunning,orwiththehandsetdocked.
•NEVERleavetheenginerunninginanunventilatedarea
-exhaustgasesarepoisonousandextremelydangerous.
•DONOTworkunderneaththecarwithawheel
changingjackastheonlymeansofsupport.
•Ensuresparksandnakedlightsarekeptawayfromthe
enginecompartment.
•Wearprotectiveclothing,including,wherepracticable,
glovesmadefromanimperviousmaterial.
•Removemetalwristbandsandjewellerybeforeworking
intheenginecompartment.
•DONOTallowtoolsormetalpartsofthecartomake
contactwiththebatteryleadsorterminals.
•Becausethevehicleisttedwithanautomaticstop
startfeature,theenginemayappeartobeoff,however ,
undercertainconditionstheenginemayautomatically
restart.Whilstaccessingtheenginecompartmentkeep
handsanditemsofclothingclearfromalldrivebeltsand
pulleysunlessbatteryisdisconnected.
PoisonousFluids
Fluidsusedinmotorvehiclesarepoisonousandshouldnot
beconsumedorbroughtintocontactwithopenwounds.
