ABOVEtheuppermark,orBELOWthelower
markonthedipstick,willdamagetheengine.
T akecaretoavoidspillingengineoilontoa
hotengine–aremayresult!

Checktheoillevelweeklyandtopupwithoilifnecessary.
Ideallytheoillevelshouldbecheckedwiththeenginecold
andthecarrestingonlevelground.However ,ifthecaris
inuseandtheengineisalreadywarm,waitforatleasttwo
minutesafterswitchingoffbeforecheckingthelevel.
1Withdrawthedipstickandwipethebladeclean.
2Slowlyinsertthedipstickandwithdrawagaintocheck
thelevel,whichshouldNEVERbeallowedtofallbelow
the‘MIN’markonthedipstick.
3T otopup,Screwofftheoilllercapandaddoilto
maintainalevelbetweenthe‘MAX’and‘MIN’marks
onthedipstick.
4Waitforveminutesandthenrecheckthelevel,
addingmoreoilifnecessary–DONOTOVER-FILL
DIESELENGINESWITHLUBRICANT!
5Finally,ensurethedipstickandllercaparereplaced.
