Thelightilluminatesforafewsecondsasalampandsystem
checkwhentheignitionisinpositionⅡ.Ifthelightdoesnot
extinguish,andABSFailappearsinthemessagecentre,
thenafaulthasoccurredwiththeABSsystemandyou
shouldseekanMGAuthorisedRepairerattheearliest
opportunity.
IfanABSfaultoccurswhiledriving,ABSoperationwillbe
suspended,butnormalbrakingwillstillbeavailable.Seek
anMGAuthorisedRepairerattheearliestopportunity.
BrakeSystemWarning-Red
Thisredwarninglightwillilluminateforafewsecondsasa
lampcheckwhentheignitionisinpositionⅡ.
Ifthewarninglightremainsilluminatedafterlampcheck,
afaultwiththebrakesystemisindicated-themessage
BrakeFailwillappearinthemessagecentre.Checkthe
brakeuidlevel(See‘BrakeFluid’in‘Maintenance’).Ifthe
lightcontinuestoilluminate,stopthecarassoonassafety
permitsandseekanMGAuthorisedRepairerurgently.
