EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION
Some early cars of the .. TD to series have been
observed to have a heavy oil consumption.
In some cases this has been found to be due to oil
passing from the valve cover Into the air cleaner and
being consumed In the engine.
This can be prevented by Inserting a restr lctor or
washer In the air cleaner engine breather pipe as
indicated in Fig. A.H.
Later produetion engines have this modification
Incorporated as standard.
