P er fec tC lean
B efore using for the first time remove
any stickers from P erfectC lean
surfaces.
The enam elled su rfac es of the oven
interior, the baking tray , universal tray
and anti-splash insert have been
treated w ith a special ty pe of
enamelling called " P er fec tC lean" .
This surface has very good anti-stick
properties and is much easier to keep
clean than conventional oven enamel, if
cleaned regularly .
F ood can be taken off it more easily ,
and soiling from baking and roasting is
easier to remove.
The follow ing notes on cleaning and
care should ensure that the anti-stick
and easy clean properties of
P erfectC lean last for many y ears.
P erfectC lean surfaces can be treated
as y ou w ould treat glass.
F ood can be sliced or cut up on the
P erfectC lean surface in the same w ay
as on a baking tray w ith conventional
enamel.
A llow the oven and any accessories
to cool dow n before cleaning.
D anger of burning.
N o rm al so iling
C lean as soon as possible after each
use w ith a dishcloth, soft sponge or a
soft ny lon brush, and a solution of hot
w ater and a little w ashing-up liq uid. The
longer soiling is left, the harder it may
become to remove.
S tu b b o rn so iling
S tubborn soiling, e.g. from roasting,
may need to be soaked first w ith a
damp sponge to loosen it and if
necessary a non-abrasive stainless
steel spiral pad or a scraper suitable for
glass can be used to remove it.
A fter cleaning, rinse thoroughly w ith
clean w ater. The w ater must run off
the surface easily . A ny residual
cleaning agents w ill hinder this
effect.
U sing o v en sp ray s o n v ery stu b b o rn
so iling
S ome oven cleaners contain strong
alkalines and / or abrasive materials.
B ecause P erfectC lean enamel is
designed to be easily cleaned, the use
of these cleaners is not recommended.
H ow ever, if y ou still cannot get the
surface clean, an oven cleaner can be
used, but for a couple of minutes only .
