Press the [ENTER/HOLD] to start detection.
The machine automatically detects the lines in the X and Y directions (automatic detection
operation: plus X direction > minus X direction > plus Y direction > minus Y direction).

A buzzer sounds each time a line is detected (four buzzers in all). If any of the buzzers fails to
sound, refer to the following:

Correcting the LED Pointer Position
If the register marks cannot be read properly, the register mark sensor and LED pointer positions may be
misaligned. If this occurs, correct the LED pointer position.

Attach a pen to the tool holder.

Load copy paper.

Press the [FUNCTION] key on the local mode screen.

Use to select [MARK SENSOR], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.

Use to select [POINTER OFS], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
A 10 mm cross pattern is drawn.
The LED pointer turns on and moves to the center of the cross pattern.

Use to move the LED pointer so that the center aligns with the center of the cross
pattern.

Press the [ENTER/HOLD] key to exit.
The correction amount is saved and the system returns to local mode.
The settings are retained even if [SETUP RESET] is selected.
