Using the Cutter
Installing the Cutter in the Cutter Holder
Be careful to keep the cutter from falling into a gap in this machine. We recommend replacing the cutter over
the sheet to enable the cutter blade to be picked up easily if it falls.
• Avoid touching the cutter blade. Failure to do so may result in injury.
• Do not shake or swing the cutter holder. Doing so may cause the blade to come off.
• Avoid storing this product in locations accessible to children.
• When disposing of cutters, contact an industrial waste disposal operator or dispose in
accordance with the local laws and regulations.
1
Insert the cutter into the cutter holder using tweezers.
• Check the orientation of the cutter before inserting it fully.
• For information on blade replacement, refer to "Cutter Replacement"(P. 147).
Adjusting the Cutting Blade Protrusion Length
Adjust the cutting blade protrusion length (0.2 to 0.5 mm) to suit the cutter and sheet type being used.
• If the base paper is thicker than the label film: (label film thickness + base paper thickness)/2
