Distance correction
When cutting a long data, an error may occur in the length to be cut depending on the thickness of the sheet. In
addition, due to the difference of the grid roller length, the difference between the amount of the movement of the
left and right sheet may occur. Here, correct these differences.
The explanation of the correction procedure for the X direction (feeding direction) is described. For Y direction
(scanning direction), when turning on the power supply of this unit, the correction will be performed automatically.
Calculating the correction value
Correction value = (Actual measured value of line of OFF) - (Input basic length)
Setting value :
• Basic value
X direction: 200, 400 and 600 (mm)
• Corrected value
X direction: ± 2% (unit of 0.1 mm) of basic length
Cuting offset : 0 to 300 mm
• Distance correction is set by each tool.
• When changing the tool number at the host side, the correction value of the changed tool number will be
applied. Therefore, be careful if you specify the tool with a command.
• When detecting the medium and the mode is in print mode, if you correct the distance as it is, the
following screen will be displayed by pressing the key in Step 3. In this case, press the
key to switch the setting of the pinch roller pressure to the cut mode and then perform the
pattern cut.
• If the key is pressed, switching operation will not be
performed.
Ex)
• Actual measured value of line of OFF: 999.0 mm
• Input basic length: 1000 mm
• 999.0 - 1000 = - 1.0 m/ (correction value)
