3.5 Manual Bypass Copying
This function allows copying on special sizes and types of paper and
transparencies which cannot be fed from the paper drawer.
Guidelines for Multi Bypass Paper
 Types
 Plain paper: Paper weight 60 to 90 g/m

 Thick paper: Paper weight: 90 to 110 g/m

,24to29lbs
 Transparencies, postcards
 Size
 Maximum size: Legal (215.9 mm x 355.6 mm)
 Minimum size: 3-3/4 x 5-1/2 inch (99 mm x 140 mm)
Making a Single Copy

Position the original.

Adjust the paper guide plates to
the size of the paper to be used.

With the surface to be copied
facing upward, insert the paper
into the Manual Bypass Tray
until it stops. Copying will begin.
* The paper will be copied on the
side facing up.
NOTE
Always straighten the curl in paper before using it. Always carry the paper
in a way that will prevent it from curling or bending.
