The brightness-reading level of the Fl ash
Meter III is properly adjusted to Minolta's
standard_ Fine adjustment of the measuring
level up
to approx_ 1 EV (stop) over or under
the standard setting is possible as individually
desired. This is done by inserting a small
screwdr iver or s im ilar instrument into the slot
of the measuring-level adjuster's black screw
head
as show n and t urnin g the sc r ew clockw i se
or count e rclock w i se until the sl ot is align ed as
desired. The wh ite graduation marks on the
blue collar surrounding th e screw represent
approx . 0.2 EV (stop) as shown by the diagram.
With the same level of illumination, turning the
adjuster to the minus (-) side will produce a
lower light reading; to th e plus (+) side, a higher
one. In
other words, the aperture indication
(e.g., fi B) becomes numerically smal ler (e .g.,
f /5.6)
as the screw is turned clockwise; numeri -
ca
lly larger (e.g., f / ll) , counterclockwise.
Bei der F ertigung wird der Fl as h -Meter III
nach Minolta - Norm kalibriert . Eine indivi-
duelle Feinjustierung des MeBniveaus bis zu 1

lichtungs wert uber oder unter der Normein-
stel lung ist jedoch moglich, indem die Schraube
der MeBniveau-Justierung mittels eines kleinen
Schraubenziehers oder iihn lichen Werkzeugs
nach rechts
oder lin ks verdreht wird (siehe

Fa ss ung um die Schraube herum bedeuten 1/5
