LCD H 403 Indication Alarm description Effect / Symptom
T BELOW MAX LIMIT
Temperature below the MIN limit
during the sterilization phase.
Temperature reading during sterilization phase is
lower than Tnom (PT1 below 121/134°c).
Possible causes / Checks Solution
Steam generator is not
working properly.
Check generator safety thermostat.
See ST01-Steam generator datasheet.
There is steam seepage
through one of the pipes
connected to the chamber.
Check pipes connected to chamber rear/lower side and their ttings.
Check for air seepage
through door gasket.
Clean door gasket and steel ledge thoroughly.
Change door seal.
Check quality and
quantity of material inside
sterilization chamber.
Duly instruct the user (refer to user Manual).
Temperature sensor PT1 is
damaged.
Change PT1 – see ST5-PT1 datasheet.
Card is damaged. Change card.
Firmware version not
updated.
Check/update autoclave FW version – see ST7-FW update.

T FLUCTUATING OVER
LIMIT
Temperature uctuating beyond
the limit (process stage).
Difference between max and min temperature
readings is greater than 5°C.
Possible causes / Checks Solution
Steam generator is not
working properly.
Solenoid valve EV6 does
not open properly.
Vibration pump is not
working properly.
Check steam generator.
Check generator resistor wiring.
Check EV6 activation.
Check vibration pump.
To perform this check, it might be a good idea to activate vacuum pump and EV6 from
menu SERVICE/COMPONENT TEST/OTHER COMPONENTS – SQ 17, that lets you
detect water owing through the generator and into the chamber.

There is air seepage
through door gasket.
Clean door gasket and steel ledge thoroughly.
Change door seal.
There is air seepage
through the solenoid valves
EV1/EV3.
Check solenoid valves EV1/EV3.

PRESSURE ABOVE
MAXIMUM LIMIT
Pressure above the MAX limit
during the sterilization phase.
Pressure is higher than 1.24 and 2.31 bar
(for cycles at 121 and 134°C).
Possible causes / Checks Solution
The electronic card is
damaged.
Change card.
Pressure transducer is
damaged/not working.
Change pressure transducer - see ST4-MPX_PRESSURE SWITCH datasheet.
