Section 6.1: Connecting To The User Interface
Default Configuration:
1. Plug the mCore’s Ethernet 1 directly into your computer or network switch using
an ethernet cable. Ethernet 1 is configured as a static IP.
2. To connect to a static IP address, you will need to make sure your computer’s IP
address is setup properly. In either case, your computer will need to be on the
same subnet as the mCore target. See Section 6.2 for how to change your
computer’s IP address.
3. Open an internet browser, enter the default static ip address of 192.168.10.220
4. You should now see the mCore Login page.
Default Username: admin
Default Password is unique per mCore and will be on the label sticker on
the bottom of the mCore
Modified Configuration: (only use if Ethernet 1 is configured as DHCP)
1. Plug the mCore’s Ethernet 1 directly into your computer or network switch
using an ethernet cable.
2. In order to connect to mCore using DCHP your PC must be setup for DHCP as
well. See Section 6.2 for how to access your network adapter settings.
3. Locate the Serial Number written on the label sticker on the bottom of the
mCore.
4. Open an internet browser and using the example below as a guide, enter your
serial number.
