Section 2: Introduction
mCore is designed for industrial applications requiring protocol translation between CDL
(CAT® Data Link), SAE J1939, Allen Bradley Tags, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, and OMF
(OSIsoft® Message Format). Each unit comes to you preconfigured and ready to install.
The mCore is easy to mount, with two mounting options, and environmentally sealed to
protect against dust ingress and temporary immersion in up to 1 meter (IP66 & IP67) of
water. Designed specifically for heavy-duty industrial applications. The device displays
LED indicating lights configured to provide positive confirmation of power, connectivity,
and data transmit/data receive.
