2. Once you’ve clicked Add Protocol, the protocol will show up under the
Protocols section in the left menu.
3. Click the name or the arrow beside the protocol name to expand list and select
the next level that appears. This will take you to the protocol setup section.
Refer to the relevant protocol sections that follow this section for further
setup instructions.

Cat Data Link is a proprietary protocol developed by Caterpillar®
Most mCore units will come with CDL already mapped out, but the following will
demonstrate how to setup this protocol.
