Locking and
Unlocking
Communicator
You can lock the communicator
so that the touchscreen and
keys do not work. When you
lock the communicator, you
can still use the
B
and
A
keys for incoming phone calls.
Establishing Password Protection
You can establish password protection to prevent
unauthorized access to information in the communicator.

Open Control Panel application ( ).

On the
Handset
tab, tap
Password
.

Tap the
Security
tab, then tap
Set
Security
Code
.

Tap in your current security code, then tap
Done
.

Enter a new security code, then tap
Done
.
Confirm the new security code, then tap
Done
.
Slide up to
lock. Slide
down to
center to
unlock.
