Making a Private Call from Contacts

Procedure:
[Menu]
1. From the home screen, scroll left or right to
Cnts.
2. Press the Menu Select button directly below
Cnts.
The entries are sorted alphabetically.
3. Scroll up or down to the required subscriber
alias.
4. Press the Menu Select button directly below
Optn.
5. Scroll up or down to Call.
6. Press the Menu Select button directly below Sel.
7. Scroll up or down to select the call type.
8. Press the PTT button to initiate the call.
During the call, the display shows the subscriber
alias.
9. Press and hold the PTT button to talk. Release
the PTT button to listen.
The LED lights up solid red when the PTT button
is pressed.
If there is no voice activity for a preprogrammed
period of time, the call ends.
If the call reaches the maximum ring time, the call
ends.
