Using the PL Defeat Feature
This feature allows you to override any coded squelch that preprogrammed to a channel. The radio also
unmutes to any digital activity on a digital channel. When this feature is active, the Carrier Squelch status
indicator is displayed.
Procedure:
Remove the microphone from the hub to enable the PL Defeat feature.
The radio plays the active transmission on the channel.
OR
If no activity is present, the radio is muted.
