Making a Selective Call
Procedure:
[Preprogrammed Button]
1. Press the preprogrammed Selective Call button
to dial the preprogrammed ID.
2. Press and hold the PTT button to start the
Selective Call.
The display shows the ID of the target radio.
3. Release the PTT button to listen.
OR
[Menu]
1. From the home screen, scroll left or right to Call.
2. Press the Menu Select button directly below Call.
The display shows the last transmitted or received
ID.
3. Press the Menu Select button directly below
Cnts to scroll through and select the required ID.
OR
Scroll up or down to the required ID.
OR
Use the keypad to enter the required ID.
4. Press and hold the PTT button to start the
Selective Call.
The display shows the ID of the target radio.
5. Release the PTT button to listen.
Press the Home button to hang up. If you do not
hang up, your radio will remain in Selective Call state
with the other unit. You will miss all sub-fleet traffic
and incoming phone calls.
