NOTE
The following events will be recorded into the EDS-510A’s Event Log table, and will then be
sent to the specified Syslog Server:
1. Cold start
2. Warm start
3. Configuration change activated
4. Power 1/2 transition (Off On), Power 1/2 transition (On Off)
5. Authentication fail
6. Topology changed
7. Master setting is mismatched
8. DI 1/2 transition (Off On), DI 1/2 transition (On Off)
9. Port traffic overload
10. dot1x Auth Fail
11. Port link off / on
Using HTTPS/SSL
To secure your HTTP access, the EDS-510A supports HTTPS/SSL to encrypt all HTTP traffic.
Perform the following steps to access the EDS-510A’s web browser interface via HTTPS/SSL.
1. Open Internet Explorer and type https://EDS-510A’s IP address in the address field. Press
Enter to establish the connection.
2. Warning messages will pop out to warn the user that the security certificate was issued by a
company they have not chosen to trust.
