Overview
Device Server Administrator lets you install and configure your NPort 5100 Series products easily
over the network. Five function groups are provided to ease the installation process, allow off-line
COM mapping, and provide monitoring and IP location server functions.
Device Server Administrator is an integrated software suite that bundles Device Server
Administrator and the IP Serial Library, and provides everything you need to manage, monitor,
and modify your NPort 5100 from a remote location.
Installing NPort Administrator
1. Once the Setup program starts running, click Next when the Welcome window opens to
proceed with the installation.
2. Click Next to install program files in the default directory, or select an alternative location.
