TROUBLESHOOTING FLOWCHARTS
VOLTAGE UNBALANCED
Verify Unbalanced
Output Voltage
Start unit and run at
1800 rpm
Verify voltage is unba anced by measur ng the vo tage l i l
with a multimeter. Phase to phase and phase to neutral.
Test voltage at load lugs with circuit breaker closed and
no load connected to the unit. Measure voltage with unit
set up n 240V 3-phase and 480V 3-phase. Verify wh chi i
phase is low. than 1 anced vo tage.(greater unba% l l
Perform the same test at he top of the circuitt
breaker. Same phase nd cating a low voltage? i i
With unit in the off position, check for
damage, loose or corroded connections
between the circuit breaker (load side)
and the load.

Check for loose, broken or damaged connections
between top of circuit breaker and voltage selector
switch. Reference voltage selector switch and generator
wiring diagrams.
