hot, making it unsuitable
for mounting a TV or other
objects sensitive to heat
above the fireplace without
risk of damage.
Installing a mantel
between this appliance and
electronics or other materials
that may be sensitive to
heat will reduce the effect of
direct heat on them.
The size and material of
the mantel will affect the
allowable clearance above
your fireplace and incorrect
placement could become
a fire hazard. Consult your
installation manual and/or
authorized dealer for more
information.
Your fireplace, gas/electrical
connections and vent are

finished wall. Great care
should be taken to avoid
screwing or nailing into these
components. Always use a
stud finder to determine stud
location and only screw into
