4. Plugthe1/4”TRSjackofyourheadphonecableintothePHONESsocketonthe
KOMPLETEAUDIO6’sfrontpanel.TurntheVolumeControlknob(VOLUME)inthe
headphonesectionoftheKOMPLETEAUDIO6totheleft-endstoptosetthevolume
to minimum.
5. Opentheaudiopreferencesofyouraudiorecordingsoftware,andselectKOMPLETE
AUDIO6asyourinputandoutputdevice(youmayhavetorestartyourhostsoftware
forthechangestobecomeactive).Refertothedocumentationofyouraudiorecording
softwareforinformationonhowtoconguretheaudiodevicesetup.
6. MakesurethattheVolumeknobonyourinstrumentisatmaximum.
7. Whileplayingyourinstrument,adjusttheinputsignalbyturningtherelevantinput
channel’sGAINknobgraduallytotheright.ChecktheinputLEDs(INPUT1and2
LEDsonthetoppaneloftheKOMPLETEAUDIO6)tomakesureyourinputsignal
doesnotclip;adjusttheinputlevelsothattheLEDslightsgreenoninput.Aredlight-
ing LED indicates signal clipping.
8. GraduallyturntheVolumeControlknob(VOLUME)intheheadphonesectionofthe
KOMPLETEAUDIO6totherightuntilyoureachagoodlisteninglevel.

Insteadofusingheadphones,youcouldalsolistentotheinstrumentsoundusingyour
monitorspeakers.Seetherelevantchaptersforinformationonhowtoconnectspeakers
totheKOMPLETEAUDIO6.Alwaysmakesurethevolumeissettominimumwhencon-
nectingtheinstrument,andgraduallyraisethevolumeafterwardsuntilyoureachagood
listening level.
