Setup:
Adjust the seat back angle using the release lever located behind the
seat back (35 degree angle provides more hip rotation). Pull up the seat
release lever located under the seat pad and slide seat back to allow
easy entry. Sit on machine placing feet so that tibia is perpendicular to
foot pad and feet are shoulder width apart.
Select the desired resistance by turning main weight selection knob and
add on weight lever. Grasp the handle located on the foot pad and pull
the seat forward as far as possible. Grip the handles on the sides of the
seat and position body with shoulders and head back against back pad.
Performing the Exercise:
With a controlled motion, extend the legs until the knees are slightly
bent. DO NOT LOCK THE KNEES. Return to the start position, without
letting the resistance rest on the stack. Repeat the motion, while main-
taining proper body positioning.
