3.1 Filters
Use filters to adjust color temperature, brightness, and contrast.
Up to four episcopic illumination filters can be installed to the left side of the microscope arm,
while two diascopic illumination filters can be installed to the front of the lamphouse. Note
that the diascopic illumination filters can be used only for L200ND.

3.1.1 The types and usage of the filters
The filters as listed in the table below are available.

Filters Usage
NCB (neutral color balancing filter) Color temperature adjustment for general
use and color photomicrography
ND4 (transmission rate: 25%) Brightness adjustment
ND16 (transmission rate: 6%) Brightness adjustment
GIF (green interference filter) Contrast adjustment
