Key in the word as described in
“Writing text by using traditional
text input” and press Save.
The word is added to the dictionary and
to the message you are writing, and the
phone returns to the predictive text
input.
Tip:
You can also add a new
word to the dictionary by using
the option Insert word.
You can add hundreds of words to the
dictionary depending on the language
used and the lengths of words added to
the dictionary.
Note:
If the word is not included
in the dictionary and you accept
it in the predictive text input by
pressing
Navi Roller
, by pressing
, or by deleting the space
between two words, the word
will be saved in the dictionary.
Note:
When the dictionary
becomes full, the most recently
added word will replace the
oldest word you have previously
added to the dictionary.
Inserting numbers
To enter a number, press and hold the
desired number key until the number is
displayed.
To enter several numbers in a row, press
and hold to enter the number
input. Key in the desired numbers by
using the number keys, and then press
and hold to return to the
predictive text input.
Tip: You can insert a phone
number or name stored in the
phone book by using the options
Insert number or Insert
name, respectively.
Inserting punctuation marks
and special characters
Press , to add a punctuation mark.
The phone tries to predict the correct
symbol. To change the underlined
symbol, press repeatedly until the
desired symbol appears.
If the desired symbol is not found, press
Symbol to enter the list of symbols
and special characters. Then roll with
the
Navi Roller
to the symbol you want
to use and press OK.
Tip:
You can also insert a symbol
by using the option Insert
symbol or by pressing and
holding to enter the list of
symbols and special characters.
Deleting characters
Press
Clear
to delete the character to
the left of the cursor.
Pressing and holding Clear clears the
display.
