Changing character case
Press once to change the character
case. Upper case is indicated by ABC
and the lower case by abc.
Tip:
Pressing and holding
enters the number input.
Number input is indicated by
123.
Writing compound words
Instead of writing the whole compound
word at once, you can write its first
part, press
Navi Roller
to accept it, and
write the second part.
Tip:
You can also accept the first
part of the compound word by
first adding a space by pressing
and then removing the
space by pressing Clear once.
Setting predictive text
input on/off and
selecting dictionary
language
When you enter the Messages menu,
the predictive text input may be set on
as the default. The predictive text input
is on when the indicator is
shown at the top left part of the
display.
To set the predictive text input to
off:
1
Press Menu, then press Write.

Press Options, roll with
Navi
Roller
to Dictionary and press
Navi Roller
.
3.
Press
Navi Roller
when
Dictionary off is highlighted.
To set the predictive text input to on
and to select the dictionary
language:
1.
Press Menu, then press Write.
2. Press Options, roll with Navi
Roller to Dictionary and press
Navi Roller
.
3.
Roll to the desired dictionary
language and press
Navi Roller
.
Tip:
To quickly set the predictive
text input on or off, press Menu,
press Write and then press
and hold options.
Note:
Predictive text input is
only available for the languages
listed in the dictionary option
list.
