Calculator (Menu 7)
You can use your phone’s calculator to
add, subtract, multiply, divide and
convert currency.
Note:
Your phone must be
switched on to use this function.
Do not switch on the phone
when wireless phone use is
prohibited or when it may cause
interference or danger.
Making a calculation

Press Menu, roll to Calculator,
and press Start or press
Navi
Roller
.

With the screen showing a “0”, enter
the first number in the calculation
(press for a decimal point).

To add, press once (+ appears);
to subtract, press twice ( - ); to
multiply, press three times ( * );
to divide, press four times ( / ).
Alternatively, press Options, roll
to Add, Subtract, Multiply or
Divide and press

To add a decimal point, press .
To enter a negative number, first key
in the number, then press
Options, roll to Change sign
and press
Navi Roller
.

Enter the second number.
Then repeat steps 3 and 4 as many
times as necessary.

For a total, press Options, roll to
Equals and press
Navi Roller
.

To start a new calculation, first press
and hold Clear.
Note
: The calculator has a
limited accuracy and rounding
errors may occur, especially in
long divisions.
Making a currency
conversion
Setting the exchange rate
1
Once in the Calculator menu,
press Options.
2 Roll with Navi Roller to Exchange
rate and press
Navi Roller
.

Roll to Foreign units
expressed as domestic
units or Domestic units
expressed as foreign
units, depending on how you wish
to convert the currency, and press
Navi Roller
.

Enter the appropriate exchange rate
and press OK (press for a
decimal point).
