Variable Description
boot manager
revision
Version number of the boot manager. You cannot set this
variable from the command line.
autoboot If autoboot is set to no, the EM5400 appliance stops at the boot
manager command line during the boot process.
If autoboot is set to yes, the EM5400 appliance does not stop at
the boot manager command line during a boot up. The appliance
waits for the amount of time specified in bootwait for input from
the keyboard. If input is received, the boot manager goes to the
boot manager command line; otherwise, it proceeds with the
boot up.
Default is yes.
bootwait Amount of time, in seconds, that the boot manager waits for
input during a boot up when autoboot is set to yes.
Default is three seconds.
boot-file Name of the operating system kernel file.
Default is /image/current/kernel.
boot-flags String of flags passed to the kernel.
Default is -x.
boot-device Device from which the boot-file loads.
Default is wd0.
