setalias
Use the setalias command to set an alias. The command has the following
syntax:
setalias name device
where name is the alias name, and device the device for which name is the
alias.
For example, the following command sets the alias flash to have the value of
wd0:
BOOTMGR[2]> setalias flash wd0
You can have a maximum of eight aliases set at one time.
unsetalias
Use the unsetalias command to clear an alias. The command has the following
syntax:
unsetalias name
where name is the name of the alias to be cleared.
For example, the following command deletes the flash alias from the list of
aliases:
BOOTMGR[2]> unsetalias flash
showalias
Use the showalias command to view the current aliases.
