The "TOOLS" section is selected by the UTILITY MASTER video page by pressing the
[F6] function key or using the cursor keys to locate on the "TOOLS" option. This section
contains the instrument's utility functions, such as adjustment of the display contrast, the
quantity of memory occupied and the procedure the instrument adopts at switch-on.
The video page which appears is as follows:
7.7.2. Contrast
Selecting the "CONTRAST" field or pressing [F1] gives access to the page used for
adjusting the display contract.
In this page the selection devices are deactivated because there is only one field, which is
thus automatically selected as soon as the video page appears. The Data Entry devices
can be used to vary the display contrast; pressing the [ESC] key returns to the previous
video page of the "TOOLS" sections, maintaining the modifications automatically.
7.7.3. Ram Busy
Selecting the "RAM BUSY" field or pressing [F2] from the "TOOLS" section video page
gives access to the page which displays the percentage of the memory occupied by the
programs, the chains and the tables, whether Program Change (PRG TABLE) or exclusive
system (SYS TABLES). Since this is a display only video page, it does not enable any
modification procedures.
