8. PUTTING THE EQUIPMENT OUT OF ORDER AND
DISPOSING OF IT
ATTENTION!
Only qualified staff can take care of dismantling and putting out of order the equipment. In particular,
only the person in charge of the dismantling phase and of end-of-life disposal is allowed to:
• perform operations of mechanical and electrical disconnection of the units according to the
dismatling instructions and the project schemes;
• take the units to the disposal center in order to divide the different materials.
The equipment is basically made up by the following materials:
• ferritic steel (AISI 430);
• steel (DD11);
• aluminates (DX51D + AS);
• plastic material in polyethylene;
• elastomers, PTFE, graphite;
• electric cables and their sheaths;
• etc...
ATTENTION!
The equipment does not contain dangerous components or substances which need particular
removal procedures.
8.1. Putting the equipment out of order and storing it
If the equipment will not be used for a long time, it is necessary to secure and store it. Proceed as follows:
Disconnect power supply from the equipment.
Cover the equipment and store it in a place which must be under cover and not too damp.
