(4) Updown operation of ID unit
1. The up and down operation of the ID unit is done by driving the liftup motor.
2. Fig. 2-6 shows the operation of each ID unit when color printing. When the liftup
motor is rotated (counter clockwise), the liftup link slides to left, and each ID
unit is in DOWN condition as shown in Fig. 2-6. Under this condition, the color
printing is available.

Fig. 2-7 shows the operation of each ID unit when mono printing. When the liftup
motor is rotated (clockwise), the liftup link slides to right, and each ID unit (except
K-ID unit) is in UP condition as shown in Fig. 2-7. Under this condition, the mono
printing is available.
