(5) Fuse unit and paper delivery
1. The fuse unit and the delivery roller are driven by the DC motor as shown in Fig.
2-8. When the fuse motor is rotated (counter clockwise), the heat roller will begin
to rotate. The heat roller makes the toner image fused to the paper by heat and
pressure.

xits while the delivery roller rotates.
(6) Cover open operation of color blur sensor and density sensor
1. As
shown in Fig. 2-9, when the fuse motor is rotated (clockwise), the cover open
gear is operated and the cover of color blur sensor and density sensor is open.

When the fuse motor is rotated (counter clockwise) in the opposite direction, the
cover open gear is moved out of engagement and the cover of color blur sensor
and the density sensor is close.
