Erasing
Partially erasing a file
1 Playback the file you would like to
partially erase.
2 Press the ERASE button at the point you
want to start erasing.
• Whileplaybackcontinues,[EraseStart]will
appearonthedisplay.
• IfyoupresstheF2(
)button,playbackwill
skip(F.Skip)totheendofthefileandthen
stop.IncaseofaVerbalcomment(☞P.36)
beforetheendofthefile,thatpointwillbe
setautomaticallyastheendingpointofthe
partialerase.
• IfyoupresstheF1(
)button,playbackwill
skipback(B.Skip)andrestartfromthepartial
erasestartingpoint.
Playbackwillcontinueuntiltheendofthe
fileoruntilthepartialeraseendingpointis
confirmed.
Anyunnecessarypartofafilecanbeerased.
3 In the position you want to end partial
erase, press the ERASE button again.
• Theerasestartingpoint(time)setinstep2
andtheendingpoint(time)setinthisstepwill
bedisplayedalternativelyfor8seconds.
• Ifyoulettheplaybackcontinueuntiltheend
ofthefile,orincaseofaVerbalcomment
(☞P.36)beforeit,thatwillbeconsideredthe
endingpointofthepartialerase.
