Therecordercanalsobeusedasexternalmemory
foryourPC.Whentherecorderisconnectedtothe
PC,itwillberecognizedasaremovabledriveandthe
recorder’smemorywillbecomeaccessibleonthePC.
Standardcopy/moveanddeletecommandsofthePC
canbeusedtodownloadanduploaddatabetween
therecorder’smemoryandthePC.
Example: Copying data from PC to recorder’s memory
1 Connect the recorder to the PC.
• Forconnectionprocedure,see“Connecting
to your PC”(☞P. 51).
• Therecorderwillappearasaremovabledrive
icon.
2 Open the recorder removable drive
withExplorer(Windows)orFinder
(Macintosh).
3 Copy the data from the PC to the
recorder’s memory.
4 DisconnecttherecorderfromthePC.
• Fordisconnectionprocedure,see
“DisconnectingfromyourPC”(☞P.52).
Note
• NEVERremovethecardordisconnecttheUSB
cablewhilethestatusindicatorlightisflashing.
Ifyoudoso,thedatainthememorywillbe
corrupted.
