Handling the recorder

• Keeptherecorderoutofthereachof
children and infants to prevent the
following dangerous situation that could
causeseriousinjury:
1Accidentallyswallowingthebattery,cardsor
othersmallparts.
2Accidentallybeinginjuredbythemovingparts
oftherecorder.
• Donotdisassemble,repairormodifythe
unit yourself.
• UseSD/SDHCmemorycardsonly.Never
use other types of cards.
Ifyouaccidentallyinsertanothertypeofcardinto
therecorder,contactanauthorizeddistributoror
servicecenter.Donottrytoremovethecardby
force.
• Donotoperatetheunitwhileoperatinga
vehicle.

• Stopusingtherecorderimmediatelyif
you notice any unusual odors, noise, or
smoke around it.
Neverremovethebatterywithbarehands,which
maycauseafireorburnyourhands.

somecircumstances,causetherecordertocatch

• Handletherecorderwithcaretoavoid
gettingalow-temperatureburn.
• Whenusedforalongperiod,therecorderwill
gethot.Ifyouholdontotherecorderinthis
state,alow-temperatureburnmaybecaused.
• Inplacessubjecttoextremelycold
temperatures, the temperature of the
recorder’s body may be lower than the
environmental temperature. If possible,
wear gloves when handling the recorder
in cold temperatures.
