Cause and
correction
Assumed cause Correction Prevention
(1) The power supply was turned
OFF when parameter data is
written (especially during initiali-
zation or data copying), causing
the control power supply voltage
to drop.
Use Data initialization (3008-04
hex) to initialize the data and, af-
ter completion of the initialization,
check if the alarm can be reset
by executing Reset (Refer to
6-8-1 Reset Function on page
6-43).
→ Undo the initialized parameter
data and resume the operation.
None
(2) Strong ambient noise was re-
ceived when parameter data is
written (especially during initiali-
zation).
Check the measures against
noise (grounding condition, con-
trol/main circuit wiring and instal-
lation). Also, perform the same
check as in (1).
→ T
ake measures against noise,
undo the initialized parameters,
and resume the operation.
Excessive noise may be generat-
ed around the inverter. Consider
taking measures against noise.
(3) An error occurred in the con-
trol circuit.
UseData initialization (3008-04
hex) to initialize the data and, af-
ter completion of the initialization,
check if the alarm persists even
after an alarm resetting attempt
by executing Reset (Refer to
6-8-1 Reset Function on page
6-43).
→ This is an error on the PCB in-
cluding the CPU. Replace the in-
verter.
None
(4) The power supply was turned
OFF when saving user set val-
ues by
User preference dataset
Registration (3020-5E hex),
causing the control power supply
voltage to drop.
Use User preference dataset
Registration (3020-5E hex) to
save the user set values and, af-
ter completion of the saving,
check if the alarm persists even
after an alarm resetting attempt
by executing Reset (Refer to
6-8-1 Reset Function on page
6-43).
→ This may be an error on the
PCB including the CPU.
Do not interrupt the power while
the parameter is saved.
