5-2 When using the UPS monitoring software
5-2-1 What is the PowerAct Pro
By using "PowerAct Pro", which is contained in the option "PA01", you can automatically
process the shutdown of your computer in the event of a power outage.
・ It is possible to shut down multiple computers on the network.
・ You can perform desired operation by setting the automatic start/stop of the UPS based
on the schedule setting.
Note: Ensure that your PC completes shutdown within the backup time after a power failure
occurs. For the backup time, refer to “4-1-3 Estimated backup time”.
For more information, refer to the manual in the CD-ROM.
Note: When using the "PowerAct Pro", the "model name" will be displayed as
"BA100R",because the program of BU100RS is in common with BA100R (another UPS
model of OMRON ).
