CJ-series EtherCAT Slave Units Operation Manual (W541)
Some CJ-series PLCs comply with shipbuilding standards. Refer to the OMRON website
(http://www.ia.omron.com/) or consult your OMRON representative for the applicable standards for
each model. If you use a CJ-series product that complies with shipbuilding standards and the machin-
ery or system in which you use the CJ-series products must also comply with the standards, consult
with your OMRON representative. Application conditions are defined according to the installation loca-
tion. Application may not be possible for some installation locations.
• The CJ-series PLC must be installed within a control panel.
• Gaps in the door to the control panel must be completely filled or covered with gaskets or other mate-
rial.
• The following noise filter must be connected to the power supply line.
Observe the following precaution if you use CJ-series CJ1W-ECT21 EtherCAT Slave Units in Korea.
Class A Device (Broadcasting Communications Device for Office Use)
This device obtained EMC registration for office use (Class A), and it is intended to be used in places
other than homes.
Sellers and/or users need to take note of this.
