ly.

With the NT631/NT631C, the PVs of up to 8 words can be displayed simulta-
neously.
Data Area and Address
These columns display the word address (data area acronym and address) of
the words being monitored. The table cells containing the word address act as
touch switches; press either cell to change or clear the word being displayed in
that row.
Hexadecimal PV
This column displays the PVs of the specified words in hexadecimal. The table
cells in this column also act as touch switches; press the desired cell to change
that word’s PV in hexadecimal. With timers and counters, the cells can be used
to set/reset the timer or counter.
When a timer or counter is being displayed, a  will appear next to the hexadeci-
mal PV when the timer/counter times out or counts out.
Binary PV
This column displays the PVs of the specified words in binary with bit 15 on the
left and bit 00 on the right. Force-set and force-reset status are also indicated.
When the word’s PV is changed in hexadecimal, that change is also reflected in
this column.
The table cells in this column also act as touch switches; press the desired cell to
change that word’s PV in binary or force-set, force-reset, or clear the forced sta-
tus of bits in the word.
ASCII Characters
This column displays each PV as 2 extended ASCII characters. Spaces will be
displayed if there aren’t ASCII characters equivalent to the PV.
