If you specify a word in the table that is already being displayed, the data
area and address of the first word of the table will be displayed in the popup
input window.
Reference:  Monitoring will stop in a table while the popup input window is being displayed
for that table. (With the NT631/NT631C, monitoring will continue in the other
table and any changes in those words will appear on the screen.)
 No other operations can be performed while the popup input window is being
displayed on the screen. (The PT can be controlled from the PC if the PT is
operating.)
2. Press the Up and Down Arrow Keys ( and ) to select the desired data
area. The following table shows the order in which the data areas appear
when the Down Arrow Key is pressed. (The data areas appear in the oppo-
site order when the Up Arrow Key is pressed.)
PC model Data area order
CS1G/H/D, CJ1G/H/M,
C200HX/HG/HE (-Z)
DM → IR/CIO → TIM → CNT → HR → AR → WR
→ EM* → EM0* → ... → EMF* → clear → (repeat
from DM)
C200HS, CPM1, CPM2A,
CPM2C, CQM1, SRM1
DM → IR → TIM → CNT → HR → AR → LR →
clear → (repeat from DM)
CQM1H DM → IR → TIM → CNT → HR → AR → LR →
EM* → EM0* → clear → (repeat from DM)
* The number of EM banks depends upon the PC being used. The PT will display
only those EM banks available in the connected PC.
Select clear for the data area to clear the table to all spaces.
3. Specify the address by pressing the Increment and Decrement Keys (+ and
–) on the word address’s thumbwheel switch. (This step isn’t necessary if
you are clearing the table.)
The digit will be incremented or decremented by 1 each time that you press
the Increment or Decrement Key.
The table containing the specified word will be displayed. Each table con-
tains either 25 words (NT31/NT31C) or 50 words (NT631/NT631C).
4. Press the Write touch switch. The PT will begin monitoring the range of
words that contains the specified word and the popup input window will be
closed. (The table will be cleared if clear was selected for the data area.)
If the specified word address is not valid, an error message will be displayed
in the lower-left corner of the screen and the buzzer will sound. (This buzzer
sound can be disabled with the PT’s touch switch sound setting.) In this
case, check the valid range of the data area in the connected PC and enter
the word address again. The error message will be cleared when a valid
word address is entered.
If the Back touch switch is pressed before the Write touch switch, the input
will be cancelled and the PT will return to monitoring the original word ad-
dresses.
