A-4 Change Tracking
Change Tracking is used to display and manage changes in the safety application data after the pin is
created.
Tracking information is property information in safety application data. The storage of the safety appli-
cation data settings at a given point in time is referred to as creating a pin.
It is primarily used for version management after the safety application data is debugged.
1 From the Safety CPU Unit Setup and Programming View, select Change Tracking from the
Project Menu.
The Change Tracking Tab Page is displayed.
The outer frames of the cells for each item are displayed in the following colors if a pin has not
been created or a change was made after it was created.
What Is Change Tracking?

Color Description
Green • The pin has not been created yet.
• Items were added after the pin was created.
Red • Changes were made after the pin was created.
Blue • The pin was deleted after it was created.
