DISTANCE - This setting is used to offset the envelope’s stopping location in the
extraction area (leading edge at middle of extraction cups). Use the left and
right arrows to move the cursor in ¼” increments (range is from 0" to 9¾”) to
offset the stopping location. For example, if this parameter is set to 4, the
leading edge of the envelope should stop four inches past the middle of the
extraction cups.
CENTERED - with this setting, the width of the envelope is measured as it
moves through the machine, so that the envelope is automatically centered
between the extraction cups when it reaches the extractor.
MAIL HEIGHT OPTION
Figure 44: Mail Height Option screen
This job parameter tells the machine whether fixed height mail or varying
height mail is being run. Use the right or left arrows to select FIXED HEIGHT or
VARYING HEIGHT mail and press Enter to store the change.
It is important to note that the machine will run in either mode with any type of
envelope. However, setting this parameter correctly can greatly improve
